A. Fields creates contemporary golf paintings shaped by patience, repetition, and care.

He grew up playing golf with his father — quiet rounds, unspoken moments, time shared without needing much else. That early sense of presence and attentiveness continues to guide the work today. Each painting is approached slowly and deliberately, as if it were being made for him.

Working with a restrained palette and simplified forms, Fields focuses on atmosphere over detail. The goal is not to dramatize the game, but to honor its stillness — the walk, the pause, the measured line.

Paintings are created in select sizes, with larger commissions undertaken thoughtfully and in limited number.
